My classical fashion-design study in Vienna, followed by 35+ years of experience in the industry,has given me a deep insight into sample development.My specialist field is design and pattern drawing for lingerie, swim- and bodywear. The process of sample development has rapidly changed during the last 40 years. Computers are helping to proceed the developement of collections. On the other hand, the know how about the creative process of realizing a new design in 3D, directly on the human body, has nearly disappeared. I use my experience and know how of traditional design and pattern drawing to help professionals to improve their daily work concerning styling and fitting. During the last 10 years I gradually started to give trainings and courses. Its a big pleasure for me, to work together with a younger generation and to share my knowledge.
